Jason Bourne- Releasing on August 5th in English and Tamil
Jason Bourne is a fictional character created by the celebrated novelist Robert Ludlum with Bourne
appearing as the protagonist in a series of twelve novels and subsequent film adaptations. The
character first appeared in the novel The Bourne Identity (1980), which was adapted for television in
1988. In 2002, the novel was adapted into a feature film under the same name and starred Matt
Damon in the lead role. The famous character Jason Bourne appeared in two sequel movies-The
Bourne Supremacy (2004) and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), both with Damon again in the lead
roles. Jeremy Renner starred in the fourth film of the franchise, The Bourne Legacy, released in 2012.
Damon bowed out of the series stating that he would not do another Bourne film without Paul

It has s been 10 years since Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) walked away from the agency that trained him to become a deadly weapon. Hoping to draw Bourne out of the shadows, CIA director Robert Dewey(Tommy Lee Jones) assigns CIA agent, Heather Lee (Alicia Vikander), also a hacker and counterinsurgency expert to find him. Lee suspects that former operative Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles) is also looking for him. As she begins tracking the duo, Bourne finds himself back in action battling asinister network that utilizes terror and technology to maintain unchecked power. Jason Bourneunexpectedly resurfaces at a time when the world is faced with unprecedented instability. At the same time, a new program has been created to hunt him down while he is still trying to find all the answers to his past and family. The film has been made at an estimated cost of $120 dollars with a running.
