Vetern Director C.V.Rajendran Passed away.
Veteran Tamil film director C.V. Rajendran, 81, died here on Sunday. He directed some 78 films. He was part of ace director C.V. Sridhar’s unit and directed many memorable movies. These include Galatta Kalyanam, Sumathi En Sundari and Ponnunjal. He did Sivakamiyin Selvan, a remake of the Hindi Hit Film. He introduced Prabhu in 1982, the movie Sangli. Prabhu’s father Shvaji Ganesan also acted in that movie.

C. V. Rajendran was an Indian film director and producer who worked in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi film industry. He is the brother of famous director C. V. Sridhar.
