60 Vayadu Maaniram is a movie directed by Radha Mohan. Produced by Kalaipuli S DhanuThe Movie features Vikram Prabhu in the lead role along with Prakash Raj,  Samuthirakani. Indhuja, Kumaravel, Sharath, Mathumitha, Mohanram, Arul Jothi and Bharath Reddy.Ilaiyaraaja does music for this movie and M. S. Vivekanand has handled the cinematography work. T. S. Jai is the editor and Viji has penned the dialogues for this movie.

Radha  Mohan’s films are known for its natural portrayal of emotions and bonding between relationships. His latest, 60 Vayadhu Maaniram, a remake of Kannada film Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu.Its story revolves around Govindharaj (Prakash Raj), a retired college professor who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. As his wife passed away due to cancer a few years ago,

Prakashraj,s son Siva (Vikram Prabhu) has admitted him in a home.Siva, who comes to meet his father after a long gap from Mumbai, Siva takes his father  out for sometime. After they spent time together, he finds him missing.

Archana (Indhuja), a doctor of the care home and Bhanu (Mohan Ram), Govind’s friend, Archana helps Siva to find his father.

Ranga (Samuthirakani), tries to kidnap a builder. The screenplay becomes interesting when Govind gets into Ranga’s vehicle where kidnapped person is in the van.film treated as same as its original version has been shot. Among all, Prakash Raj as the simple old man who suffers from the disease made a good performance.
